WardLink is a clinical reference and ward-management tool developed and operated by WardLink, based in Cairo, Egypt. It is designed exclusively for qualified healthcare professionals.

WardLink is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. The app brings together patient information organization (admission through discharge), drug safety reference lookups from published sources (NIH LiverTox, NIH LactMed, and FDA labels via NIH DailyMed), audio dictation and OCR document scanning, and secure team collaboration — all intended to support, not replace, clinical judgement.

Regulatory Status

WardLink is a clinical reference and ward-management tool. It is not a medical device as defined by the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), or equivalent regulatory bodies.

• The app does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or patient-specific dosing calculations.
• All pharmacological reference information is sourced from published databases (RxNorm, WHO ICD-11, NIH LiverTox, NIH LactMed, and FDA drug labels via NIH DailyMed).
• Reference outputs are retrieved reference documents — not AI-generated predictions or recommendations.
• The clinician is solely responsible for interpreting and acting on any information provided by the app.

AI is used exclusively for speech-to-text transcription and document OCR — never for clinical decision-making.

Data & Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), with role-based access control and continuous security monitoring across the platform. WardLink is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform / Firebase) provided by vendors that maintain industry-standard certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II.
